The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the notification for the 2020 State Forest Service Preliminary Exmae. Applicants can consult the notification issued on the official MPPSC website. The examination application process will begin on January 11, 2021 and will continue until February 10, 2021. A total of 111 positions will be admitted upon completion of the examination. At the same time, the exam will take place on April 11, Sunday.

Eligibility for Forest Service Preliminary Examination

Assistant Conservator of Forests- Applicants applying for Assistant Forest Conservator positions have a bachelor’s degree with one of the following subjects: physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, geology, mathematics, statistics, agriculture, forestry, environmental science, veterinary science Should be

Ranger- To apply for forestry officer positions, applicants must have obtained a bachelor’s degree in science / mechanics / agricultural science / forestry or the equivalent from a recognized university / institute. In addition, a graduate must have one of the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Mathematics, Statistics, Agriculture, Forestry, Environmental Sciences.

Age Limit

The minimum age for applicants for all positions is 21 years old. At the same time, the maximum age for the post of deputy conservator of forests is 40 years, while the maximum age for posts of Forest Kshetrapal has been set at 33 years. Candidates in the Reserve category (natives of the State) will benefit from maximum flexibility according to the rules.

  • For SC, ST and PWD candidates- 250 rupees
  • For without reservation and others – 500 rupees

Selection process

The selection of candidates for these positions will be made on the basis of a preliminary examination, a main examination and an interview. The preliminary examination for the post of Deputy Forest Conservator and Forest Kshetrapal will be accompanied by the preliminary examination of the state service.
