IIT Bombay released a paper and shift schedule for the exam, a total of 8,82,684 candidates took the exam as of February 5.
IIT Bombay released the 2021 Engineering Graduates Aptitude Test (GATE) paper and quarter schedule. At the IIT Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Roorkee and IISc Bangalore meeting with the IIT-Bombay, the examination dates were decided. 8,82,684 candidates applied
This year, several changes have been made to GATE 2021. This time, students can take the exam for multiple papers by choosing from the combinations given from the same application. However, various subjects can only be selected in the permitted combinations. A total of 8,82,684 applicants applied for GATE 2021. This is a slight increase from 8.59 lakh applications last year.
88-year-old candidate applied
There is no maximum age limit for candidates to take this exam. Under this rule, an 88-year-old candidate also applied for the exam this time. At the same time, a 15-year-old boy from Rajasthan applied as the youngest candidate. Since this year, a total of 14,196 students have applied for new humanities subjects.
The exam will take place from February 5 to 14
GATE 2021 will be held in two shifts from February 5 to 14, 2021. Applicant admission cards will be published on January 8, 2021 on the online application portal. At the same time, after the examination, its results will be published on March 22, 2021.
